Search the LINKcat library catalog to find books, DVDs, CDs, audiobooks, and other items in our collection.  Log in to your personal account to renew books, pay fines, or place items on hold.  You can also create your own list of books for future checkouts.  The catalog contains items owned by 53 libraries, available for borrowing by patrons in good standing.

Like to read on your digital device?  Your library card gives you access to over 120,000 digital e-books, audiobooks, and magazines.

For information, check out LIBBY, Wisconsin's source for free ebooks, audiobooks, magazines and more.  Overdrive has been available to SCLS patrons for several years now.  Use the LIBBY app for the best access to what's available.

Outerlibrary Loan

If you want a book or DVD or CD that is not available in one of our system libraries, we will try to borrow it through Outerlibrary Loan.  In many cases, the requested items arrive at Adams County Library within two weeks.  We can also request copies of articles as well as microfilm reels.  Ask a staff member for help in filling out a request form, or call us at 608-339-4250 to place the order.
