Adams County Library Services during the Health Emergency
Due to the health emergency, Adams County Library requires that all visitors to the Library have an appointment. Appointments may be made at any time during our open hours:
- Monday, Tuesday, & Friday 10:00 am to 4:30 pm
Wednesday 10:00 am to 7 pm (Closed Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays)
The stacks are not available for browsing. Staff will pull materials from the shelves, and will photocopy or fax items.
Patrons may use a public computer to do quick internet searches. There is a computer table that can be reserved for anyone who needs a place to use a laptop or other digital device with Wi-Fi. Staff are available to assist.
Space in the library is limited. Please let us know whether your visit to the library will include more than one person. This will help us keep public visits as safe as possible by limiting the people in our public areas.
Patrons are required to wear masks that cover their nose, mouth, and chin while they are in the Library. Patrons must observe social distancing guidelines.
The library encourages all patrons to use contact-free checkouts. To set up a pickup, call or email the staff with notice of the items you want. Staff will set up an appointment for pickup.
Donations for the Food Pantry are happily accepted. Please wrap donations in a plastic bag for protection, and leave by the Library's curbside pickup table at the back door of the Library.
PLEASE NOTE: All items that are returned to the library are being quarantined for 24 hours. This means your account will display items as being "Checked out" even after you have returned them. Please don't worry about "overdues." No fines accrue while items are being quarantined. We appreciate your patience on this.
